CampPlus is our after camp extended care program.  It is opened to all campers attending any of our MiniCamps -- HorseMiniCamp, Ranch MiniCamp, Outdoor Explorers and Acteeva. CampPlus takes place at the Lafayette Reservoir. 

Cost: $25.00/day                                           
Time: 3:00 – 5:00pm  

Pick-up: Campers can be picked up at the reservoir or ride a bus that will drop them off at a central spot.  See Transportation for times and spot.  Acteeva Camp Parents may pick up 4:45-5:00pm at the Lafayette Reservoir, or they can choose to send their camper in the bus to a selected CampPlus bus stop.     

Activities:  Fishing daily, and Crafts,Sports & Games are offered on a rotating basis.
                   Campers who attend CampPlus can choose which CampPlus                         activity they wish to participate in for that day.  

Schedule:  Campers first have a snack and beverage.  They also re-apply sunscreen and go to the bathroom before beginning activities. Activities run from 3:20-4:45pm.  At 4:45, campers clean up, have time for water and bathroom breaks, gather up their backpacks and belongings and head for the CampPlus bus. 5:00-5:40 is bus drop- off times. Acteeva parents may pick up from 4:45-5:00pm at the Lafayette Reservoir. 

Staffing:  CampPlus is run by Katie Gorman our CampPlus Coordinator. On-Site staff includes:  Wendy Woodhead, Waterfront Director and on-site director, Robert Woodhead who runs the crafts, sports, games section and Phil Choy the MiniCamp fishing Counselor who runs the fishing.  All three staff are lifeguard certified.  Camps are supervised at all times and must follow the RI rules for being on the dock and at the Reservoir at all times. 

Enroll:  Campers may sign up for any variation of days they wish from one – five days.

Please call by noon of the day you wish to register your camper for CampPlus.  CampPlus is limited to 20 campers so we recommend you sign up early.  To enroll, contact us at 925-283-3795 or email campplus@roughingit.com and indicate that you wish the fees to be charged to the credit card we have on file for you.  Let us know the days you want to select and the designated bus stop –see transportation- or if you are picking up your camper 4:45 -5:00pm.
